The separate parts are awarded for completing four sequential quests:

• On the right track (quest) - Valley Key
• Frozen key (quest) - Caves Key
• In the deepest cave (quest) - Polar Key
• The last part (quest) - Underwater Key

Item used for:

It opens the Mystic castle, enabling travel there via the Magic portal.

Quests using the item:

• Unusual lock (quest): find all 4 key parts

Notes

It is possible to buy all the parts of the key for 90 however doing so causes an error which prevents the completion of the Unusual lock quest.

Additionally the game sometimes freezes on this item, even when the quest to get all the pieces is complete. If so a refresh of the game, sometimes twice, will fix the issue.
