There are map objects that exist on dream locations' maps, some are preexisting, some appear after the building of a structure whilst others are triggered by events or quests.
They can usually be "unlocked" or "opened" through the use of an item or items. Commonly the item gets destroyed in the process.Sometimes the map object will automatically re-spawn, others will only be available once.
In 2018 a new variety of map object was released, which can be purchased and traded with but only for a limited number of times before it disappears from the map. Usually 3 or 5 times and on the last trade a special item is given.
Unlocking the map object yields a variety of rewards.
